Randy & Rachelle Shriver decided in 1998 to move to the Lake of the Ozarks and bring their sons Riley (9) and Drake (7) up in a quieter setting. Randy has been in the heating and air conditioning business for 30 years and says it is all he’s ever done and all he ever plans on doing.

Road Runner is the only premiere Lennox dealer at the lake. It takes an 80% approval rating to maintain this privilege from Lennox and Randy’s crew maintains a 98% approval rating. Lennox follows up after all installations with a customer survey, which Lennox takes very seriously. Randy says there are very few people who look forward to replacing their heat/air units, so they try and make the process as painless as possible and customer satisfaction is only second to the unit performance.

As of January 2006 the government ceased to manufacture anything less than a 13 seer unit. The news is good for homeowners who have older units, because the electrical savings will pay for the upgrade from an 8 to a 13 seer unit. In 2010 refrigerant 22 Freon is being phased out for the new, no CFC’s 410-A Freon.

Randy says business is always good as units have a natural life of around ten years. The government is continually improving on efficiency with focus on environmental quality. Randy thinks he’s fortunate to love a business that there will always be a need for.
